In the News: Jarrett Prairie Nature Center wins 2017 AASLH Award of Merit

The exhibit at the Jarrett Prairie Nature Center in Byron, Illinois, was recently selected as a 2017 Award of Merit winner by the American Association for State and Local History.

The American Association for State and Local History (AASLH) is a national association that provides leadership and support for its members who preserve and interpret state and local history in order to make the past more meaningful to all people. The Award of Merit is presented to recognize excellence for projects (including civic engagement, special projects, educational programs, exhibits, publications, etc.), and individual achievement.

The entire Split Rock Studios team is thrilled for this acknowledgement! Congratulations to Jarrett Prairie team, and feel free to read more about the Jarrett Prairie exhibit here.
