Our roots go deep—all the way back to 1959. After decades of working together in the museum world, a group of 13 exhibit professionals teamed up in 2000 to forge a new path. Led by founders Craig Sommerville and Chris Wilson, they purchased Deaton Museum Services and founded Split Rock Studios—a design/build firm committed to storytelling excellence.
