Call for Artists – Public Art Request for Qualifications

Split Rock Studios is excited to announce the launch of our Public Art Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the El Portal Visitor & Community Center in Puerto Rico.
This Request for Qualifications seeks qualified candidates for design, production, and installation of several art installations at El Portal Visitor & Community Center (El Portal). The project committee is interested in engaging local artists and artisans, whether individually or as part of a larger team, to incorporate Puerto Rican natural history and environmental science concepts, culture, and community connections to El Yunque National Forest in El Portal as part of a larger renovation project. Interested artists should reside in Puerto Rico or work on a team with an artist(s) who resides in Puerto Rico.
This is a public opportunity; feel free to share with any artists that may be interested in participating.
